Sunrise Children's Villages

Staff

We employ local Cambodians rather than take volunteers and pride ourselves on employing as many survivors from the Pol Pot Genocide years as possible. Many of these people regard Sunrise as their own family and this feeling is important to them and the children.

We have cooks, nannies, doctors, farm hands, guards, drivers, office staff, house mothers and fathers, teachers for English, computers, music, dance, and sewing. and carpentry. Their salaries are higher than what most Cambodian employers would pay and by treating our staff well and as part of a large family and not just employees, we get loyalty and respect from them.
